Trade Facilitation
IFIT is a provider and licensor of trading systems to independent third parties. Typical end users of IFIT 's electronic trading products and services are professionals in stock exchanges and trading institutions, banks, brokerage firms, or fund managers.
IFIT maintains an easily extensible trading system for hosting automated trading strategies. Such trading strategies can be hosted within IFIT's infrastructure, or access the IFIT Trading System through a programming interface (API). It is possible to look at the same account from different instances of the IFIT Direct Trader, enabling clients e.g. to monitor an account remotely.
IFIT maintains connections to markets like electronic stock exchanges, brokers and FOREX marketplaces. Connections are established through a managed financial network service (e.g. BTRadianz), leased line, or VPN over the public Internet.
The IFIT Order Routing System offers a centralized and uniformed access point for order submission. From there, orders are routed automatically to the market places. Execution messages are collected in real-time by our Back Office. Various markets for futures, options, commodities, single stocks, and currencies can be accessed using a single trading interface. The IFIT Direct Trader is a light-weight, fast and easy to use manual trading client. It can be used from anywhere in the world, thanks to its ability to reach the IFIT servers through an encrypted connection over the public internet.
The company’s data center is located at the headquarters in Zurich. It is protected against physical intrusion by an alarm system, which is monitored 24/7 by a security company. Server status as well as temperature is monitored by an automated system, which alerts personnel in case of an emergency. Due to the fact that a regional Swiss stock exchange is hosted in IFIT’s data center, all the facilities have been certified by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA, formerly known as EBK).
